JOIN THE WORSHIP TEAM
The heart of Mount Vernon Worship is to be more than musicians. Our desire is to be a family who enjoys loving Jesus through the music and worship that we offer Him together. We want to be bright lights where God's unwavering promises SHINE in us and through us... deepening faith, encouraging growth, and creating a culture of worship where Jesus is the one and only person we praise.
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus's sake. For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
- 2 Corinthians 4:5-6

KiDS Worship & AWANA
We want kids to learn they were made to worship!
Beginning Wednesday August 28, at 6:30, Mount Vernon KiDS will begin AWANA, a scripture-based kids program that will teach them to love Jesus through music/worship, fun games, and learning scripture. They'll have the opportunity to learn songs that tell of God’s glory, using music to worship Him, and then leading others in worship for special services. These young worshippers will discover that God loves them and that He delights in them learning His Word and singing His praises!
